I am a highly experienced singing teacher and vocal coach offering singing lessons in Brighton and online for beginner to professional level. I have sung as a professional singer internationally and for companies such as Glyndebourne Opera. As a teacher my aim is to give you a healthy and secure vocal technique whilst cultivating your own unique and natural sound.
I am also a qualified Alexander Technique practitioner and specialise in posture and movement. I draw upon these skills in our work to help you achieve top vocal health and performance. I also have a lot of experience working with adolescent singers, guiding them safely through the difficulties of voice transition.

Online singing lessons provide a great way to keep your voice in top condition in the comfort of your own home.

I graduated with both Masters and Bachelor degree from the Guildhall School of Music and Drama (London) in 2008, specialising in voice. I also attended the Guildhall's prestigious two year Opera School Programme. After leaving the Guildhall I went on to sing professionally for companies such as Glyndebourne Opera and Scottish Opera. My prizes include winner of the Royal Overseas Leagues Competition and YCAT (Young Concert Artist Trust) in London. I have been a finalist in the Kathleen Ferrier, Richard Tauber and Guildhall Gold Medal competitions. On the concert platform I have performed at many of the UK's major venues and with orchestras such as the Royal Liverpool Philharmonic and the Northern sinfonia. In recital I given concerts at the Wigmore Hall, Oxford Lieder Festival and Bridgewater Hall in Manchester.

Singing lessons take place from my home space on Waterloo Street in the old Brunswick Town area of Hove. The space is quiet with lots of natural light; the perfect environment for learning and tapping into your creativity. There are lots of lovely cafes and attractions in the area including Hove Lawns and the British Airways i360 if fancy a spin after your lesson.
Waterloo Street lies almost on the border between Brighton & Hove so it's conveniently central if you live locally. It's about 20 minute walk from either Brighton or Hove railway station. Norfolk Square is the nearest bus stop (3 minute walk) which is served by many major bus routes. |
